Goranka Tanackovic

Goranka Tanackovic holds a PhD from the University of Zagreb and the University of Geneva. Parallel to her doctoral studies, she successfully completed the entrepreneurship programme of "Create" Switzerland and was one of the winners of the "Venture Leaders" programme. She also successfully completed an entrepreneurship programme at Babson College, Wellesley, USA. After a successful academic career, she joined Gene Predictis as CEO in 2011. With the support of the Board and the team, she transformed the company's vision and strategy. Under her leadership, the company developed best-in-class diagnostic products that address important medical needs, grew the business significantly, won numerous awards, and led to a successful exit in 2023. In addition to her role as CEO, Dr Tanackovic serves on several boards and teaches university courses.
