Lucas Spierer

Lucas Spierer obtained his PhD in neuroscience in 2008 at the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University and Hospital of Lausanne and has now established his group at the Medicine Section of the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. His research focuses on the factors modulating the expression of training-induced brain plasticity in the healthy and neurological brain. In 2021, he founded Neuria, a spinoff of his research laboratory, to put on the market his latest discovery of new neurocognitive mechanisms of action targeting the brain reward system to reduce cravings and consumption on unhealthy products.
